Customer involved in the bottling industry had a mechanism that consisted of a machined delrin block and multiple gear and slide rails which were all driven off a single shaft. Though over-molding a gear on the shaft and then molding the balance of components (secondary gears and the 2 piece block itself) we were able to cut the base cost of the unit by almost 50%.
